Flawless Walls Begin
Under the Surface.
A luxury finish is only as durable as the surface underneath it. At Camero Painting, we treat substrate preparation not as a chore, but as an exact science. Before a single drop of premium paint or mineral plaster is applied, our team executes a rigorous 6-step preparatory protocol.
"Creating a solid base is the single most critical phase of any high-end remodel. We eliminate substrate flaws to guarantee that beauty endures for decades."
Deep Surface Cleaning
Thorough decontamination of drywall and plaster to remove airborne grease, micro-particles, and grime that compromise adhesion.
Mildew & Moisture Treatment
Specialized eradication of mold and mildew in humid spaces like bathrooms and historic basements, sanitizing the substrate.
Drywall & Plaster Repair
Expert patching of settlement cracks, puncture holes, and spalling plaster in older homes using fiber-reinforced compounds.
Precision Mechanical Sanding
HEPA-vacuum-assisted sanding to eliminate ridges, lap lines, and old textures, ensuring a level, uniform surface without spreading airborne dust.
Architectural Priming
Application of deep-penetrating bonding primers that equalize surface porosity and lock in stains before final finish coats.
Full Skim Coat Skin
A thin, edge-to-edge coat of mud compound buffed down to a glass-smooth mirror finish, ready for ultra-luxury paints or mineral plasters.
Fine Specialty Painting &
Restoration Services
Beyond our renowned mineral plasters, we deliver elite-level surface treatments, bespoke millwork finishing, and precision restorations for distinguished residences across New York and Connecticut.

Robert Gomez
"There is a profound distinction between commercial painting and true surface curation. For over 12 years, I have dedicated myself to the latter: transforming raw architecture into living, breathing environments through mastery of pure minerals, fine paints, and microcements."
The Origins
My journey began under the tutelage of Venezuelan masters trained in the strict traditions of Italian schools, where I learned the ancient alchemy of slaked lime, fine marble dust, and natural clays. Today, our material laboratory constantly experiments to build a bridge between Old World craftsmanship—like authentic Venetian Plaster—and the demands of modern interior design, including sleek microcement applications.
State-Awarded Artistry
My work is not simply about executing a finish; it is about bringing recognized, award-winning excellence to spaces that demand nothing less. For years, I have spearheaded high-stakes architectural projects across Connecticut and New York, leading teams of over 12 people in ultra-luxury developments where there is zero margin for error, and where flawless coordination with architects and General Contractors is second nature.
"We don't sell paint jobs. We provide a tailored architectural finish that elevates the acoustic and visual soul of your home."
The Fellowship of the Craft
I have deliberately brought together the finest artistic and technical talents in the tri-state area into a single cohesive force. Blending my multidisciplinary background—spanning from performance art to high-end architectural interventions—we offer the most demanding clients a level of execution, discipline, and vision that the "painters" down the street can't even begin to decipher.
A Purist Performance
We don't sell a service; we execute an act of total transformation. What others treat as a chaotic construction site, we manage as a live performance where space, materials, and our hands move in absolute unison. There is no room for improvisation here: we handle the most stringent standards of the American market, from millimeter-precise protection of floors and fine finishes to the absolute accountability that a project of this tier requires.
"There is an uncompromising purism in our process: a perfectionist obsession bordering on experimental madness that leaves an authentic footprint on every wall, wood, or surface we touch. That being said: all of this high-fashion wall artistry starts, as it should, with a good black coffee early in the morning."
The Standard of the Masters
It is no secret in the trade: when other contractors get stuck dealing with complex mineral finishes, authentic lime, or seamless microcement, they end up calling us to solve the problem. But you don’t need technical explanations.
"As I’ve always said: good work isn’t seen... true work is felt to the touch, breathed in the atmosphere, and left etched into the space."
If you are looking for a rushed fix or someone to simply cover your walls without soul, this path is not for you. But if you yearn for surfaces created with devotion, technique, and the deep imprint of a true artisan—whether through flawless fine painting or exquisite Venetian Plaster—let’s talk about what we are going to build in your space.
